This rooftop garden with Japanese accents in the West Village provides an ecological retreat and unique outdoor space for a West Village family.
The roof works to moderate heat gain, as well as to provide sound insulation, neutralize pollutants and reduce storm water runoff. Black stone, undulating woven bamboo, a circulating pond and bridge, and lush vegetation create a meditative and tranquil atmosphere for repose and gathering.
