Set in the lakeside of Putnam Valley NY, this private sanctuary serves as a place to retreat as well as to entertain guests.

Constructed out of prefabricated Ipe lumber resulting in 32 custom sized joints, this skeletal structure stands as a unique sculptural space. With an exception of curtains in semi-enclosed the sleeping area, the structure is open to the surrounding nature.
Made to withstand changing seasons the Ipe lumber beautifully weather without a compromise in its structural integrity.

This boathouse becomes a unique object in its natural setting by taking advantage of the privileged views that surrounds it . The architecture merged nature and the constructing world, erasing the boundary between them.
