S1 condominiums are a new concept of ecological residences located in Brooklyn, NYC.

The design, inspired by sustainable construction techniques and innovative use of materials, explores the multiplicity of experiences of living in the city.

The façade is articulated following the idea of a puzzle, where each element finds its place in the composition as a reflection of the experiences created in the interior spaces. The façade becomes a system ruled by multiplicity and flexibility, where each inhabitant chooses his way to relate with the street.

The different frames created in the façade adopts different materials that emphasized the public or the private character of the spaces, redefining the architectural qualities of ordinary materials such as corrugated metal and glass and creating a game of solids and voids.

S1 envisions a healthy lifestyle, through a balance between nature and the city, and between architecture and its inhabitants.
